Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton

post

Parenting is the toughest job on earth.  No matter how many books we read, article we pour upon and courses we take, it will still be a big learning curve…. from that very first time you saw those lines on your pregnancy test; from that very first time you signed the paper to initiate fostering or adoption.

That learning curve tends not to slacken, not even when you have multiple children because they are each different!  The saying it takes a village to raise a child is quite correct.  We need encouragement, sometimes help, other times a shoulder to cry on as the responsibility of the journey we have embarked on feels too heavy for us to forge through.

A community of like minded parents makes this journey easier.  Parenting, which starts from the very beginning of thinking of having a child, through giving birth, breastfeeding and eventually the more direct discipline we provide them to become wholesome adults in society is challenging because it forces us to grow. It forces us to look at our inner demons, our childhood baggage and it implores us to let go of it……because that is the only way forward to help those tiny humans dependent on us to be wholesome themselves!

Parental Thriving, focuses on helping you the parents to move through all the waves of emotion that will overwhelm you in every step of your parenting journey and bring forth the best in you which feels best for your little family!
